EPEC UL 891 LV AC Switchboards
EPEC UL 891 Certified Switchboards (SWBD) power over 1GW of PV, BESS and EV data centers and utility-grade solar farms. Tier 1 developers, engineers, and EPCs have validated their unmatched performance and reliability in challenging environments.
EPEC’s SWBD family is custom-built, ranging from 400A to 6000A and supporting voltages from 208VAC to 800VAC. The SWBDs are UL 891 certified, built in North Carolina, and have industry-leading ETAs of 16 weeks (1200A) and 24 weeks (4000A & 6000A modular SWBD). They feature an innovative, compact design that delivers exceptional value and has garnered praise from top engineers and developers.
EPEC Virtual Central Rack on Rails (RoR) Inverter Racks
EPEC Rack on Rails (RoR) is an innovative& cost-effective pre-integrated string inverter power block. Also, the RoR could secure safe harbor tax credits with off-site construction. RoR Power Blocks are available from 1MW-4MW, and EPEC SWBD specs are 800-4000A (480-800VAC). The RoR chassis is custom-designed to hold string inverters following the manufacturer's spacing requirements. EPEC 1200-4000A SWBD rests in the middle of the RoR. The MVT can connect to the RoR via a direct bus or cable connection.
The RoR can be delivered two ways:

Partially Integrated (RoR Chassis plus SWBD mounted, customer hangs string inverters in the field)

Fully Integrated: (RoR Chassis, EPEC SWBD, String Inverters mounted and all AC wiring completed before shipment).
EPEC RoR is built using galvanized steel and can be mounted on piles. They are engineered to withstand rigorous environmental conditions while offering substantial cost savings compared to traditional installation methods.

EPEC 800A-6000A Modular SWBD (208-800VAC)
(lead time 30 weeks)
Designed from the ground up for renewable applications, the modular designs let you add sections as needed. For example, multiple main sections (M-T-M) up to 6000A. GenSET, feeder sections, controls… Its modular design ensures it can power your BESS, EV, and PV projects now and in the future.



EPEC 800-4000A SWBD (208-800VAC)
(lead time 24 weeks with room to expedite)
Available with a Main Breaker or Main Lug only at 480-600VAC or 660-800VAC, it was designed from the ground up for demanding renewable applications. Expedited options are available.



EPEC 400-1200A SWBD (208-600VAC)
(lead time 16 weeks)
Available with either a 1200 or 1500A bus and available in two chassis sizes: Freestanding (80x42x24) or Wall (Rack) Mount (62x37x18). Main breakers (LI or LSIG (ETU), LSIG with AERMS from 400-1200A with feeder ranges 100, 150, & 250AF.

EPEC 400-1000A SWBD (208-800VAC)
(lead time 16 weeks)
UL 508A certified AC combiner panels custom designed and manufactured for string inverter applications. 400 to 1000A bus rating, Main breaker up to 250A or MLO with feeders from 40A to 250A MCCBs in a small footprint (45x31x9). Available in NEMA3R or NEMA4 (NEMA4 up to 600VAC).

EPEC XFMR/SWBD SKIDS
We also offer custom XFMR/SWBD skids, with the SWBD close-coupled to the MVT. Industry leaders prefer these modularized skids because they can enhance project QA/QC and streamline construction timelines, which saves you time and money. The typical 2.5MW power block (2500KVA MVT direct bus to EPEC 4000A SWBD) is shown below.
